In 2011, the North Carolina Museum of History opened its flagship exhibit, which was a chronological history of the state of North Carolina, covering early settlement to modern days. The city block in front of the museum was filled with these banners to promote the new permanent exhibition. The Story of North Carolina– it’s legendary– it’s innovative–it’s revolutionary–it’s inspiring–it’s hands-on… All of the slogans are descriptive to both the stories contained within the exhibit, and also the experience of seeing the exhibit.
